Whale Watching and Sea KayakingWhale watching is a tremendous experience! The best whale watching on the eastern coast of North America is concentrated in the Fundy Aquarium Ecozone located in the Bay of Fundy in the Charlotte Coastal Region. Check in with the day adventure centres located in St. Andrews and St. George, or visit Grand Manan and you will find whale watching excursions offered by a number of local operators who know where the whales feed and how to find them. Do not forget to bring your camera!
Sea Kayaking is also offered at the day adventure centres as well as on Deer Island, Campobello and Grand Manan. Explore coastal coves and inlets, see rocky shores and cliffs from the water and be prepared to see some Bay of Fundy wildlife and numerous sea birds. Visit some uninhabited small offshore islands. There is a lot of kayaking variety offered by the selection of operators on the mainland and the islands. You can kayak for a week and see all new areas.
